Our clients often express the wish to learn a little more about the veterinarian who is coming to visit their home. Dr Jen Gale has been with MN Pets since 2011 and recently I asked Dr Jen a few questions about herself and her career in veterinary medicine so you could get to know her a little better.
Q. What influenced you to become a veterinarian?
My mother suggested it to me during my senior year of high school. I have always loved teaching, science, people and pets. All things that are required for a veterinarian.
Q. Dr Jen, you are the only one of our doctors currently practicing outside MN Pets as well. What other type of veterinary work do you do?
I also work part-time as a general practitioner at a companion animal veterinary clinic in the North Metro.
Q. What do you find to be the most rewarding aspect of your work with MN Pets?
I have worked in the field of veterinary medicine for about 17 years. My work with MN Pets has shown me that in-home euthanasia is the most gentle and peaceful option for the pets and their families.
Q. What do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Camping, inviting friends and families over, reading and visiting farmers markets.
